Graphics Help
So you picked out the perfect graphic
and now you would like to place it somewhere, but you have no idea how
to do that! Well, I am here to help! This page will cover
placing graphics in your shop, on your profile, on your homepage, or in
your club. If you have issues that aren't covered here, may I
recommend Lissa Explains It All
or HTMLite?
1. It doesn't matter where you want to put the graphics on Zetapets (club page, shop page, profile, homepage), the coding is all the same. This is HTML, there is nothing weird about it (nothing Zetapets proprietary).
2. You must have an image server. I would prefer that you find your own (see The Rules), and there are lots of good free ones out there (such as Image Shack and Photobucket). Once you have uploaded your image to your image server, nake a note of where the image is stored (its URL). Many image servers will even have copy and paste coding for you, which will also give them the credit for hosting the image. Go ahead and use this if it is available, and don't remove the credit. They are giving you hosting for free, you might as well conform to their terms of use and give them their free advertising.
3. If your image host does have copy and paste coding, here it is:
Simply replace the words Your image's URL with . . . .well, your image's URL. *grins* This code will center the image. It does not contain a link. If you would like to make your image contain a link (perhaps back to my site? *hint hint*) then the code is:
In this case, again replace You image's URL with the URL of your image, and also replace Linkage with the URL of the page you would like to link to. In both of these cases, it is important that you only replace the words, leave the quote marks alone.
That's it! Congratulations, your image is coded! *grins*
