Thanks, but these images are manipulations of existing images from Zetapets.com (and other sources).  As for teaching, because of the wide variety of graphics software available, and the fact that I am still learning what my own will do, this is about the extent of what I can teach:

1. Grab an image from the Zetapets image server.  Save to your harddrive.
2. Open in your graphics program.
3. Do stuff to it.
4. Save when you like how it looks.
5. Upload to a server, use as you want.

Yup.  but they are not copyright free.  Check The Rules for more information on this.

Well, I'm sorry, but no.  I created this site because I don't have a lot of time to spend on the computer updating a daily or weekly site, and I really don't have time to make custom avatars for everyone who asks.  I wish I did, but frankly I would prefer to spend the time with my daughter *grins*.
