Hardships
strikes all birds
But the
industrious blue jays
Plan
ahead for lean days..
May we
rest assured...
Where
ever they trod;
They
give thanks unto God.
To survive
icy freeze
From
dawn to dark...
Stashed
inside trees,
Cached
in its barks
Is corn
from the cob
Tho'
squirrels oft' rob.
On
Thanksgiving Day
Turkey
with dressings
Are foods
to applaud.
At the
table we pray
Enriched by blessings,
Thanks unto God...
