The picture I shot on the top of the page inspired me to attempt my first bird painting
 on January 10 th and 11th,  2006 with acrylics and brush ..It took all of 2 afternoons...
    Most challenging was to find the right shades of paint for blending color.  I used a
 thick card stock paper which perhaps hampered the paint to absorb properly and
will definitely use art paper for a smoother surface if I try it again!
