He shall rise up at the voice of the bird...
Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the
golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be
 broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken
 at the cistern....Eccesiastes 12: 4-6

red bellied woodpecker on a wheel

Please wait for the big picture above to load
of a red bellied woodpecker sitting on snow covered wheel...

Tapping her  beak

On the hub of a spoke,

She thought of a quote

As she rose up to speak.

"A golden bowl shatters

And glass pitchers break;

 Wheels roll and scatter

In an earth quake..."

But a small bird is heard~

 Spills words o'er a mountain;

Silver cords ... God insured,

To deliver the Lord's fountain!

The term "silver cords" in my poetry
is symbolic for vocal cords..and
the "Lord's fountain" for eternal life.
