Sing and make melody in your heart
 to the Lord.  Ephesians 5:19

By stretching forth thy hand...that signs and
wonders may be done by the name of thy
holy child, Jesus. Acts 4:30

My older sister who is a Music Instructor was just learning
how to use her computer when I composed this page in
February 2002.. She shared with me one day in an email
that she felt uncomfortable about signing guestbooks or
visiting websites as she was not ready yet until she fully
understood the world of the computer and its terms.

(She was not alone as many people feel uncomfortable about
computers until they get used to it)..I  wrote back to say that
I have signed a lot of guestbooks, but I could never get up and
 sing in front of a crowd like she does...I then went on to add, it
 is interesting that sign and sing sound so much alike.

 I told her she sings her thoughts to others for others to hear
and see..The only difference in my case is that no one can
see me behind the screen, but they hear my words..In reality
I am a painfully shy person and also a very private person.

The photograph that I shot below was inspired by
my analogy of sign and sing.. I knelt down to the
part of our door that has a screen under the glass
shooting upward of our weeping willow tree which
looks like it is stretching forth many hands.

Behind the screen

My hand signs
But is not seen;
I choose to remain
Behind the scene.

My voice is heard
Thru written word;
Behind the screen.
I do not sing.
