Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations:
ask thy father, and he will show thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.

Don't be anxious about tomorrow.  God will take care of your tomorrows too.

On Dad's family  tree

His Norwegian father John

Was a carpenter by trade

In the Old Country....

This profession he carried

With him even  beyond

When he moved to the States

After he and Grandma Anna married.

Grandpa's  hands were  skilled;

As an organist... his fingers he did play

Hymns for the congregation to sing

In his own church in Norway.

Later he helped to build

A Methodist church in Wisconsin

On a small parcel of ground....

It brought grace to the town.

The years  flew by

Generations  married,

Tears flowed for those  buried.

Babies  born while others die,

But the church lives on

To remember God's son

Though time brings change,

 His message stays the same.

and Grandma Anna passed away when I was five years old.)
