It was interesting to discover the word jam in the name James ( the book of
the Bible) after I chose the verse above for this page. There is no reference
to plum jam of course in the concordance..I usually try to find key words
as you may have noticed to correlate with the theme of my pages.
This
is the only year we've had enough plums to do anything with, and we
think
the hot dry weather might have had something to do with the
bumper
crop...We planted two plum trees about 10 years ago in our back
yard
and usually the birds ate what few they produced. The orioles
who
come
in the spring may like to get a taste of homemade Plum Jam, but
they
will have to settle for store bought Grape Jelly!
