A devoted old pet
Follows its master.
What mostly matters
Where e'er they walk,
E'en with small talk,
There is mutual respect.

The creatures of earth,
Who capture our heart,
From the time of their birth
Is why love seldom dies,
After death does its part...
If eternity is spent in paradise.

When God, the master calleth
Special pets to the promised land,
Perhaps He'll open heaven's door
For dogs and cats and more,
To share the branch of olive~
With their fellow man.

This page is dedicated to our
faithful dog, Koki
who will be 14 years old on
April 20th.. We have
had her since she was a little
puppy and we love her.
*An interesting footnote I
didn't notice until after I wrote
my poetry for this page is
that I used the words, what, where,
who, why
and when in my verses...We know who
the master is and
where
eternity is, but will we know
why and
what we will be doing
when
he
calls us to our final home?
