And wanted wars to end
He taught us how to live
When he cried Father forgive.
He cared about the enemy,
And also for His friends.

Like the sunlight freely flooding
A tear- stained pane of glass
Jesus vowed thru' His campaign
To bless folks following His path.

He was a patient candidate
And He didn't judge with hate,
He left the invitation door open
For those who may come late.

To all  the voters who selected
and endorsed Him for their guide,
He granted eternal peace if elected
for loved ones on the other side.

    God's promises of pearly gates
was enforced best when he gave,
And allowed His son perfected, 
Beyond death's early grave!

 After a near death experience, in 1974, Bette Myers painted  the face of
  Christ. (She'd witnessed a beautiful vision of Him and painted from memory.)
Bette's husband donated a framed print of one of her paintings to the church 
( where I shot my photography on this page) after Bette passed away to be with the
Lord, about 10 years ago... (The tiny  print of Christ that I digitally inserted in 
the stained glass window of my photograph above, was given to me from Bette's
  father-in-law before he passed away in 2003)  I treasure it.

I met Bette once in 1992. .. Here is a photo of her that I shot at that time.
 She was a professional singer besides a portrait artist.  On this photograph
she was 78 years old!  Her skin was flawless and she didn't have a line
 in her face .. She was absolutely stunning with extraordinary talent!
