Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity,
and sin as it were with a cart rope...Isaiah 5: 18
Cords
of vanity cannot be seen in a piece of wood
Boards
humble in the grain are clearly understood.
Words
negative with woe... grumbles to complain
Stumbles
in the snow bank of misery and pain.
The
burden becomes heavy as it goes into next year
As
the hurry into worry... speeds journey into fear.
Tomorrow
is not promised... it is given to the afflicted
To
borrow for the day... on the cross our Lord lifted.
For
you see a piece of wood holds no vanity or sin
But
only true accord for what Jesus left for friend,
In
the cords of His heart strings drawn by a rope
Burned
inside the cart of peace.. love and hope..
