Arise and shine;
for thy light is come,
and the glory
of the Lord is risen upon thee.
Isaiah 60 : 1
Arise
ye morning glories ... It is time to wake up,
As
hummingbirds flit and sip wine from thy cup.
The
lawn is thy castle... let it shine in God's light
May
petals open wide .. on vines to full height.
Wild
flower mixes gather varied assortments
The
fellows unspoken for.. are unmarried gents.
They
dress to impress in bachelor button hoods
Free
as the pixies.. To march thru the woods.
Moss
roses petite in size and dimension
Modest
they preen.. without malice pretension
Like
queens regal, they wear bronzed crowns
Ruling
their berth while on palace bed grounds.
The
dahlia flower raises head and shoulders
High
above the other planted earth soldiers
Strong
with power he is a planet guardian
The
Lord praises the genteel Edwardian.
